Prescot Hockey Club: 2014-15 Season Review
Prescot Hockey Club Executive Vice President David Johnson writes:
The hockey season has two weeks to go, and all four of Prescot Hockey Club’s senior teams are in with a shout of silverware or promotion.
The men’s first team are currently on 92 goals and will be looking to score a 100 for the first time in their history. Currently in fourth place in the North West Division 3, they have an outside chance of promotion.
The men’s seconds are in second place in Division 6, with one game to play, and will likely need to beat third-placed Bolton in a win-or-bust game on 14 March.
The ladies’ first team are in the Manchester Cup final and are holding their own in the North Feeder League. They should have a good end to their first season at this much higher level.
The ladies’ seconds are currently in first place in Division 3 and are looking at back to back promotions as champions.
All in all, a great 2014-15 season, capped off by over 90 juniors playing hockey with Prescot from all over Prescot, Huyton and St Helens.
