Mayors of Prescot and WhistonThe opening night was a sell-out, and a rare screening of Willy Russell’s Our Day Out saw a church hall packed to the seams, but there’s still more to come from the Prescot Festival.

Tonight (Wednesday, 22 June), Whiston singer-songwriter Rachael Dunn will be joined by musical friends at the Old Mill pub. The free acoustic night begins at 7.30pm.

Tomorrow sees talented young instrumentalists and singers from Sefton Music Service in concert, and the festival continues into the weekend with L’Orchestra Dell’Arte, Bentley Operatic Society, Metropolitan Cathedral organist Timothy Noon and Liverpool Male Voice Choir.
