No Riots in Prescot, Whiston or Huyton
By Prescot Online on Wednesday, August 10, 2011
There has been no rioting in Prescot or Huyton, despite rampant speculation on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
There has been increased police activity in the area as a precautionary measure, but reports of mobs so far are false. Please think twice before repeating unfounded rumours of violence, as they only fuel fear and panic.
Prescot Online stands proudly with Prescot’s neighbours and wishes Liverpool the best of British as the city recovers from this outbreak of mindless and destructive behaviour. Keep calm, all, and carry on!

Rioting was avoided in Huyton because almost everyone ended up smashing their computer monitors whilst attempting to steal goods from Amazon and Ebay…Eccleston Street already has about ten boarded up shops, would anyone have noticed if Prescot had had a riot?

Harry, that would be funny– if it was not true
