Update (17 December 2014): More about Vee’s Place, Prescot

Ever wondered what’s going on in the old Prescot Library on Kemble Street?

For many years it’s been a church, home of the Zion Independent Methodist Church, and it still is — but recently, much of the building has been refurbished to accommodate Vee’s Place, a social outreach to children and young people in Prescot and across Knowsley.

Vee’s Place staff, volunteers and clients explain what it’s all about in the short video below. Visit¬† to find out more.

Vee’s Place is something well worth shouting about. Verity Rhodes has created something out of virtually nothing for the benefit of others. She is a truly wonderful human being.

When I watched the video I followed it to YouTube and found that Howard Jackson, who made the video, had recorded others on the same subject of Vee’s Place so I thought I’d put these two links here for everyone to have a nosey.
