Princess Sophie to Visit Whiston Hospital
(Update 24/04/13: The Princess is due at the hospital at approximately 2.00pm today.)
Whiston Hospital welcomes a royal visitor on Wednesday 25 April.
The Countess of Wessex, wife of Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, will greet patients and staff as part of her day in Merseyside. She’ll first go to Aintree Davenhill Primary School and later attend a reception for the Safe Place Appeal at the NSPCC Hargreaves Centre in Liverpool.
Limousines with a police escort were spotted on Dragon Lane, Whiston, earlier today, in what was likely a dummy run for tomorrow’s occasion.

Now my dilemma is….do I stand outside on Dragon Drive tomorrow and hope I can get a wave in as the convoy passes? Maybe she will even be at the hospital tomorrow morning when I am in the lab getting my weekly blood test done…one never knows! Oh skwee… 🙂
