      Hi David,

It seems a long time ago now but I also worked in the TCD (BTCL)from 1971 to the factorys closure in May 1985. My role was in QC and worked out of the materials lab under Mike Jenkinson. I was goods inwards inspector and patrol inspector. My two supervisors were Bill Pennington and Arthur Leight. I worked with Denis Coburn and Steve Prescott, who have posted on your website.

They were happy times and have a few photos of inside the factory if they are of interest? I often wonder how many guys and gals are still around and always enjoyed working there even on three shifts.

Hello Michael and David, Mike Jenkinson was my brother in law. Sadly he passed away recently. Fascinating set of photographs!
