5ft Snake Still at Large in Huyton
By Prescot Online on Saturday, July 6, 2013
A five-foot-long boa constrictor is still missing after it escaped from its home on Parbrook Road, Huyton, on Thursday.
The snake, named Petzi, is four years old, with black and green markings and a yellow underbelly. While she’s not venomous, she could become aggressive if she feels threatened.
Members of the public should dial the non-emergency police number on 101 if they spy the reptilian runaway.
Below: Location of the snake’s home. Owner Jennifer Whitby said Petzi was not in her tank when checked on at 6am Thursday morning.
