Jonathan Fitchett, an ex-pupil of St Edmund Arrowsmith Catholic School, was attacked by four men in Cables Retail Park, Prescot, at lunchtime on Thursday 11 July.

“We are following a number of positive lines of enquiry and we are actively seeking the offenders involved in this incident.

“I would urge anyone in the area with information about this incident to contact us and tell us what they know and I would also call on the people involved in attacking Jonathan to do the right thing and step forward and tell us what happened.”

These thugs need a deterrent and there isn’t one in this country. All they will get is a few years in a holiday camp. I hope they get life they are a pack of animals. Can’t fight on their own have to have a mob behind them. Condolences to the family
