By Prescot Online on Thursday, September 12, 2013
(Update 12/9/13 2pm: Eccleston Street has been reopened.)
Eccleston Street has been partially closed this morning after a theft in the early hours.
Police were called to the NatWest bank at around 2.30am this morning, Thursday 12 September.
Early reports suggest a cash machine was taken, though Merseyside Police have yet to confirm details.
The junction of Eccleston and Leyland Streets has been cordoned off, cutting off either end of the main shopping area, as police investigate the incident.
