Olympic gold medallist Sir Bradley Wiggins won Stage 3 of the Tour of Britain in Prescot today.
The individual time trials took cyclists from Knowsley Safari Park, down the A57 and back through the historic town centre of Prescot, before continuing the 10-mile route with a circuit through Knowsley Village.
The win, with a time of 19 minutes 54 seconds, put Sir Bradley in first place in the competition overall.
His Sky Pro Cycling team-mate Ian Stannard came in second, with Jack Bauer, of New Zealand, in third.
