Remembrance Day 2013 in Prescot
By Prescot Online on Thursday, November 7, 2013
Prescot will commemorate Remembrance Day with two events this year.
A Civic Act of Remembrance takes place on Sunday 10 November at the Cenotaph, by St Mary’s Church (Prescot Parish Church). The start time is 10.45am, with the traditional silence at 11am. This is followed by a service in the church.
On Monday 11 November, Prescot Town Council, in association with St Mary’s Church and Our Lady Immaculate and St Joseph’s Church, hold an Armistice Day service of remembrance at the BICC Memorial, in Prescot Cemetery. Again, this starts at 10.45am.
All are welcome to attend.
