Prescot Christmas Lights Switch-on 2013
Prescot’s Christmas lights will be switched on on Saturday, 30 November 2013.
The celebrations start at 3.00pm on Eccleston Street, with ‘little donkey’ rides, children’s fairground rides, a free willow craft workshop, light refreshments and live entertainment from a radio roadshow.
Father Christmas’s grotto is open free to all children, but as you know, it’s a busy time of year for him, and therefore he has to leave at 5.20pm. Please arrive early to ensure your place in the queue.
(Santa’s elves tell us he’ll be back in Prescot town centre on Saturday 7 December, too.)
For the official switch-on at 5.00pm, the Mayor of Prescot will be accompanied by the winner of this year’s Christmas colouring competition.
