Murder Trial Date Set for Whiston Man

A Whiston man has appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on a murder charge.
Nathan Kenny, 33, is accused of murdering his former stepfather, Michael Fennah, 52, also of Whiston, on 17 December last year.
Fennah was hit by a car shortly after 9am, and police arrested Kenny later the same day.
He made the court appearance via videolink from HMP Liverpool, Walton, on Friday 2 January.
He will enter a plea at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday 27 March, and a potential trial is set to begin on Monday 12 May.
