New Prescot Subway, Carphone Warehouse to Open February-March
A new Subway store and a Carphone Warehouse are soon to open on Cables Retail Park, Prescot.
Sandwich chain Subway now boasts more outlets worldwide than rival McDonald’s – whose Prescot restaurant is directly opposite the new outlet.
Subway development agent Neil Denny says the opening is part of a £2-million investment in new stores across the North West, expected to provide about 200 full-time and part-time jobs.
The new Subway is expected to open around the middle of March 2014, and will open from 7am to 11pm daily.
A Carphone Warehouse will open in the same unit in late February, with a shopping voucher giveaway planned for the opening weekend. Newly recruited local employees are already in training.
Another Subway opened on Dragon Lane, Whiston, in April last year.
