£1,000 Reward for Harvey’s Return
A Whiston taxi firm has stepped in to double the reward for the safe return of Harvey, the beloved pet dog that went missing from Rainhill in November last year.
Jude Devine and Shaun Roberts have mobilised ‘Harvey’s Army’ to keep searching for their black-and-grey miniature poodle, and Diamond Taxis owner Mark Legros was so moved by their plight, he chipped in with £500 of his own cash.
He’s also paid for a five-week advertising campaign on Juice FM, saying, “We just want to bring Harvey home.”
Shaun said the cab company’s drivers “have been looking out for Harvey throughout the day and night” since the search began.
Jude added: “We cannot thank Diamond Taxis enough. We are hoping that the increased reward will encourage everyone on Merseyside and the surrounding areas to keep their eyes peeled for Harvey.”
There have been reported sightings, but the dog remains at large.
The £1,000 reward remains in place until 10 March.
Potential helpers can find out more at www.findharvey.org or keep-up-to-date with the latest Harvey news on Facebook.
