Prescot School Home to WWI ‘Mini Museum’
Knowsley Park Centre for Learning in Prescot has become a mini museum to commemorate the outbreak of World War One.
An exhibition of items and photographs relating to both world wars takes place until 28 June, opening from 6pm to 9pm Monday to Friday.
It is part of the wider project ‘Local Heroes, Distant Voices,’ now exhibiting at Huyton Gallery before moving to Kirkby Gallery and eventually Prescot Museum in August.
Schools and community groups throughout Prescot, Whiston and the rest of Knowsley can apply to have their own mini museum by contacting Tina Ball on 0151 443 5617.
