ASBOs for Prescot ‘Nuisance’ Brothers
Three Prescot men have been given antisocial behaviour orders that could see them imprisoned for up to five years.
Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates’ Court heard on 11 June how Daniel Yates, 23, of Hughes Avenue, and his brothers Peter Yates, 24, and Stephen Yates, both of Kingsway, took part in incidents involving harassment, threatening language, abusive behaviour, criminal damage and theft from vehicles.
Under the ASBO conditions, the brothers are forbidden from entering some parts of Prescot, hanging around publicly with each other, and having contact with specific individuals affected by their past behaviour.
If they breach the terms and are convicted, they will be fined, jailed or both. The conditions remain in place until 10 June 2016.
Knowsley Council advises anyone with concerns about antisocial behaviour to contact them on 0151 443 2000, Merseyside Police on 101 (or 999 in an emergency), or Knowsley Housing Trust on 0151 290 7000.
Alternatively, you can report incidents online at www.knowsley.gov.uk/asb.
