Man Arrested after Traffic Incident in Tarbock Green
Via Merseyside Police:
Merseyside Police can confirm a man has been arrested following a serious road traffic collision in the Prescot area in the early hours of this morning (Thursday, 17 July)
Officers were called to Whitefield Lane, Tarbock Green just after midnight following a report that a cyclist had been in collision with a car, causing serious injury.
Upon arrival, emergency services found a 26–year old man with serious head and back injuries. He was taken to hospital where his condition remains serious but stable.
Patrols in the area were stepped up and a short time later a 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and failing to stop. The man has been taken to a police station where he is being questioned by officers
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
