Prescot Care Home Manager Wins Regional Award
The manager of John Joseph Powell Nursing Home has won a Great North West Care Award for her exceptional skills.
Dot Pye, who runs the facility just off High Street, Prescot, was nominated by employers Meridian Healthcare “for being a natural leader who is focused on developing the positive culture amongst her staff group required to achieve excellence in care.”
Meridian regional manager Debbie Thompson added that she went “above and beyond the call of duty” to support her workforce and serve the interests of John Joseph Powell’s residents.
Dot received the Care Home Manager Award at a ceremony at the Palace Hotel, Manchester, earlier this month.
Commenting on the win, the judging panel said that “her honest and infectious personality shone through from the outset.”
