Rainhill Shooting: Police Want Information
A 24-year-old man was shot in a targeted attack on Blundells Lane, Rainhill, last night (Tuesday 13 January).
Officers received reports and attended the scene shortly after 8.05pm . The victim, who is local, was shot twice in the back and is recovering in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives continue with forensic examination of the area, not far from Knowsley Cemetery on Fox’s Bank Lane, Whiston.
Related police activity took place at Prescot Cemetery on Manchester Road, but no incident is reported there.
