Campaign Raises £3.2K for Family of Terry Hall
Almost 300 people from Huyton, Whiston, Prescot and beyond have raised £3,205 for the family of Terry Hall, the Knowsley Park student who died last month, aged 13.
Organiser Alicia Duff said that “nobody should plan their son’s funeral at that age” and “every penny will count.”
“Everyone at the school is devastated at this tragic loss of a young boy who was so full of fun and had so much potential,” said Knowsley Park Centre for Learning Head Teacher Judy Walker.
Terry was found in Stadt Moers Park, Huyton Quarry, on the afternoon of Thursday 30 January.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, and police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
An inquest began last Friday, 6 February, and the outcome is expected in about May.
