Prescot Cemetery & Churchyard in Pictures
Prescot Cemetery & Churchyard officially raised its new Green Flag last Wednesday, 21 October.
Knowsley Council and volunteers from the Friends of Prescot Cemetery & Churchyard have worked for over two years to improve the site.
Back in July, Prescot Online reported that the cemetery had received the Green Flag award in recognition of its status as a welcoming, safe, clean, sustainable and environmentally friendly.
The flag now stands proudly at the east end of St Mary’s Church, off Market Place.
