Christmas Tree Festival – a magnificent display of over 25 trees provided and decorated by local businesses, organisations and community groups. Admission is free, and for £2 you can decorate an angel and hang it to the Parish Christmas Tree. Times are 10am-5pm Thursday-Saturday and 12 noon to 4pm Sunday. www.stannsparishchurch.org.uk

Mayor of Prescot’s Charity Christmas Concert – A jubilant musical celebration of Christmas featuring Prescot Parish Church Choir, Knowsley Ladies’ Choir, St Mary & St Paul’s School Choir, staff and student choirs of Evelyn Community Primary School and a guest brass ensemble (TBA). Tickets are only £5 on the door, and children (u16) are FREE with an adult. Seasonal refreshments follow. All proceeds go to Willowbrook Hospice and Prescot Army Cadets. www.prescotfestival.co.uk
