Mayor of Prescot’s Christmas Concert – the Festive Event of the Year!
Five choirs and a brass ensemble are preparing to take part in what has become one of the most anticipated Christmas events of the year for Prescotians.
Pupil and staff choirs of Evelyn Community Primary School will take to the stage this Thursday evening, along with St Mary & St Paul’s Primary School Choir, Knowsley Ladies’ Choir and Prescot Parish Church Choir.
Liverpool Brass Ensemble complete the concert programme, which features Christmas carols and other festive favourites, ending with a few tasty seasonal treats. It’s always a packed event, bursting with atmosphere.
Entry is only £5 (including refreshments) on the door, and under-16s are free when accompanied by a paying adult.
The concert takes place from 7.00pm to 8.15pm on Thursday 10 December at Prescot Parish Church, and all proceeds go to two great local charitable causes – Willowbrook Hospice and Prescot Army Cadets.
