Three Candidates up for Whiston Town Council Seat
By Prescot Online on Tuesday, July 26, 2016
A by-election has been called for Delph Ward in Whiston on Thursday 18 August 2016.
The town council election follows the death of Cllr Jackie Delaney in May.
Three nominees are in the running for the seat: Gillian Flatley (Labour), Paul Shaw (Liberal Democrats) and Kai Taylor (Green Party).
Meanwhile, a by-election has been called for Knowsley Park North Ward on Knowsley Parish Council. It will go ahead only if a candidate is put forward to contest the seat.
