Police Investigating Alleged Whiston Assault
Merseyside Police can confirm it is investigating reports that a 12 year-old boy was assaulted in Whiston.
Officers were called to Milton Avenue, at 4.40pm yesterday, Monday 26 September, to reports that the boy had been assaulted in the street following an altercation with a male motorist who got out of his car. The boy was not seriously hurt.
Neighbourhood Inspector Graeme Webster said: “We are keen to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident and are actively pursuing a number of lines of enquiry including tracing and speaking to the driver.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Merseyside Police on 101 or the Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.”
