Adam Ellison Funeral This Friday

Adam Ellison is to be laid to rest this Friday, 26 January.

The 29-year-old man from Prescot died after being stabbed in Market Place, Prescot, in the early hours of Saturday 4 November last year.

Adam was well-known and loved in Prescot, as a familiar face at Tesco Extra, where he was training to be a manager. He and girlfriend Rebecca were planning to marry, and were excited about celebrating Adam’s upcoming 30th birthday together.

Shortly after his tragic death, his family wrote that “Adam was the centre of our whole world, loved everyone and would do anything for anybody without a second thought. He looked after us all.”

His funeral takes place in the Church of St Mary the Blessed Virgin (Prescot Parish Church) at 11.30am on Friday. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

A private cremation will follow.

A murder inquiry is ongoing, with Merseyside Police still searching for the driver and passenger of a green scrambler bike involved in the killing.
