Prescot Carnival Is Back on Sunday 24 June
The Prescot Carnival returns to Brown’s Field, courtesy of Prescot Town Council, on Sunday 24 June.
Live entertainment this year will include performances by Freshco Crew Breakdancing, St Edmund Arrowsmith Band, Shine Gospel Choir, Prescot’s Got Talent winners, Starlight Morris Dancers, MATE Productions, and Charlotte Codack and Nichola Doran.
There’s also the usual funfair and inflatables, along with such adventurous activities as a climbing wall, land zorbs, a zip wire and ‘Bush Tucker Trials’ – if you’re brave enough!
Archery, arts and crafts, food and market stalls, and more are on site for those who want more of a relaxing Sunday.
All are welcome to join the parade, which sets off from Waterfield’s, Eccleston Street, at 11.30pm and arrives on Brown’s Field, Wood Lane (L34 1LN) for the grand opening at 12 noon.
The fun-packed day ends at 4pm.
