Three Arrested for Adam Ellison Murder

[Edit – Merseyside Police have released the following update, 25/09/19: “For clarification the 22-year-old man from Huyton was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle in connection with the murder of Adam Ellison. All three males have now been released under investigation.”]

From Merseyside Police, news of a big step towards justice for Prescot man Adam Ellison:

We have arrested three males on suspicion of the murder of 29-year-old Adam Ellison on Saturday, 4 November 2017.

Adam was walking along a pedestrianised area in Market Place, Prescot at 0.40am with three friends when he became involved in an argument with a number of people on a motorbike.

During the incident he was stabbed in the neck with an unknown weapon. He was taken to hospital for surgery but sadly passed away that morning.

Two 17-year-old males from Huyton, and a 22-year-old man from Huyton were arrested on suspicion of murder today, Tuesday 24 September. They have been taken to police stations in Merseyside to be interviewed.
