Free Computer, Internet Sessions at Prescot Library
Prescot Library is offering a series of free information sessions about getting online.
As part of the national Be Online campaign, the library will host the following in early March:
- Family History Helpdesk – Tuesday 3 March 9am-12 noon
- Breathe Easy – Friday 6 March 1pm
- Computer Helpdesk & Health Information – Friday 6 March 1pm-4pm
Other sessions take place in other Knowsley libraries, including Halewood, Kirkby, Huyton and Stockbridge Village.
“It doesn’t matter if you’ve never touched a computer before or if you already know a bit – the Library Service Be Online sessions will give you the chance to give computers and the internet a go,” said Cllr Eddie Connor, Knowsley Cabinet Member for Leisure, Community and Culture.
“Come along and discover how getting online could save you time, hassle and even money.
“For residents who already use the internet the sessions will help show you how to find reliable online information to help you manage your health.
“Our Family History Help Desks are run by friendly, knowledgeable staff, who can support residents discover their family history and help with any difficulties encountered along the way.”
