Help Piece Together Eaton Street Park Mosaic
The Friends of Eaton Street Park are inviting the people of Prescot to help make a colourful mosaic for the park this weekend.
The finished piece will be mounted on the wall alongside existing mosaics at Eaton Street Park, known locally as the ‘Reccy,’ on the edge of the town centre.
The mosaic is based on the official park logo (pictured), designed by pupils from Evelyn Community Primary School, which also features on the new park gates. Local artist Bernie Hughes planned the project and will supervise its creation on Saturday.
Eager artists, especially children, are welcome to drop in to help at Space to Create on Eccleston Street (next to Margaret Rose) between 10am and 12 noon on Saturday 8 June.
