Volunteers at Knowsley Cemetery in Whiston invite you to remember your loved ones with silk flowers and Christmas stars.
Members of WICH are selling the flowers on Saturdays and Sundays 29-30 November and 6-7 December at the cemetery on Fox’s Bank Lane, between 11.00am and 2.00pm. They cost between £5 and £20.
On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December, also 11.00am-2.00pm, the group are selling Christmas stars. All proceeds from flowers and stars go to the building of the memorial chapel on the site.
On Saturday 6 December, the Friends of Prescot Cemetery & Churchyard will be fundraising with a raffle at the Christmas Lights Switch-on in Prescot town centre, between 3.00pm and 5.30pm.
Then, on Sunday 14 December at Prescot Cemetery, they will be holding a Christmas Tree of Remembrance ceremony, where you are invited to remember your loved ones with a dedication on the tree.
The short service begins at 2.00pm and is followed by festive refreshments.
